At various times during the year we will have a number of taster sessions for those new to golf and a number of courses being run for players getting back into golf or beginners courses. To get started, get in touch with Newton Green Golf Club and you’ll be enjoying your first swing in no time.  

Step 1 - Taster session Meet your group at the pro shop and our friendly professionals Tim or James will take you through an enjoyable skills session designed for beginners. Meet some of our members who will help with the session and then you will be most welcome to have a drink with us afterwards. If you have had fun and enjoyed the ‘taster session’ progress to the next level.  

Step 2 - Passport to Golf 5 group lessons - These group training sessions will cover several topics; grip, stance and swing development. Everything to help you gain confidence so that you can go it alone. You will be provided with a tube of balls and a club so you can practise. The Pro will sign your passport when you achieve these skills. Cost: £50 (£10 per session)  

Step 3 - Academy 3 Month Membership Now that you have learnt the fundamentals it is time to put them into practice.
* 4 individual 30 minute lessons with the Pro
* Access to our short game area and practice ground
* Social membership - use of the clubhouse and discount on food and drink
* A Golf buddy will be allocated to help and guide you
* Once your Academy training is completed and all skills signed off by the pro, full use of the course will be available with your golf buddy/full member. Cost: £140
